Cahonas announce partnership with Sports Interactive.

Cahonas are delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with Sports Interactive, the world’s leading developer of sports management simulations through its Football Manager series.

The agreement will see Cahonas branding appear in-game and the studio help to raise awareness of testicular cancer with other exciting activations.

The partnership will also see Football Manager sponsor the Cahonas Football Ambassador project, which uses SPFL clubs and players as a vehicle to share information about the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer with Scottish football clubs, their supporters, and the wider community.

Cahonas CEO and Founder Ritchie Marshall said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Sports Interactive.  Football Manager is a fantastic brand for our charity to be working with and one that really gives a huge platform to share our life saving information on testicular cancer and the importance of early detection.

“With their kind support and backing we aim to make regular self-checking a permanent fixture for football supporters this season and beyond”.

Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Sports Interactive, Richard Trafford, added: “When Cahonas approached us with a very creative plan to raise further awareness about testicular cancer, we were delighted to offer our support.

“The assistance they provide to people in hospital through inventive, individual care packages was naturally something we wanted to help with – we hope that the immersion a Football Manager career can bring will help the patients on their road to recovery.

“We’re also very happy to support the Cahonas Football Ambassador programme, which uses the beautiful game in Scotland to raise awareness about self-checking, the importance of talking and the benefits of early detection.”
