Support shaped by real experience.
We support anyone facing testicular cancer with practical and emotional help shaped by people who have lived it.
Our support is honest, reassuring, and rooted in real voices across Scotland.
Here is what this looks like.
You’ve Got This Cancer Care Pack.
A free care pack for anyone diagnosed with testicular cancer in Scotland. Each box contains around two hundred and fifty pounds of carefully chosen items designed to bring comfort and ease during treatment. This includes a wash bag, non scented toiletries, soft bamboo toothbrush, hydration bottle, lip balm, bamboo cutlery, and other thoughtful essentials that make difficult days a little easier.
The box also introduces you to the support Cahonas provides, from the Check One Two podcast to peer spaces and practical guidance created by our community.
A small lift at a tough time. A reminder that you are not alone.
Peer Support.
Real conversations with people who have lived it. Our peer support offers relaxed, friendly spaces that make it easier to talk about treatment, emotions, hormones, and life after testicular cancer. Support comes from survivors, volunteers, staff, and members of the testicular cancer community in Scotland, including voices from our Board of Trustees who bring their lived experience into the heart of our work.
This includes one to one coffee meetups, small group sessions, and digital options for anyone who prefers to connect online.
Support that feels human, not clinical, and rooted in Scotland’s testicular cancer community.
Check One Two Podcast.
Honest conversations about testicular cancer from people who understand it. The podcast covers symptoms, diagnosis, hormones, treatment, mental health, sex and relationships, fertility, identity, and recovery. Created because men told us they needed a place to hear stories that felt real and easy to relate to.
Check One Two is the United Kingdom’s only dedicated testicular cancer podcast and was highly commended as Best New Podcast in the 2024 British Podcast Awards. Guests include survivors, clinicians, supporters, and voices from across Scotland and beyond who speak openly and comfortably about their experiences. Created for anyone who wants real talk about testicular cancer, recovery, and life beyond diagnosis.
Straight talk. Real voices. A space that feels supportive and genuine.
The Check In Room at Cahonas HQ.
A comfortable private space for anyone who wants to talk face to face. The Check In Room is designed to feel warm and relaxed, giving men a safe place to ask questions, share concerns, connect with someone who understands, or simply slow down during a difficult time.
It is a dedicated space shaped by survivor insight and built to remove the barriers men often feel when talking about testicular cancer. Some use it for quiet conversation, some for reassurance after diagnosis, and others as a starting point before joining our wider community support.
A space designed for comfort, conversation, and support at your pace.
Testicular Cancer Community Voices.
Personal reflections from men across Scotland who have experienced testicular cancer and want to help others feel less alone. These stories highlight what they wish they had known earlier, how they navigated diagnosis and treatment, and what helped them regain confidence during recovery.
Their voices bring honesty, reassurance, and real perspective to anyone facing the same journey.
Real talk that builds understanding and connection.
